Now go to your Camera → Camera Properties → Octane Camera Imager. I believe Octane Blender set it up this way by default with the latest versions but better safe than sorry. You need to set Display Device to sRGB, View Transform to Raw, Look to None, Exposure to 0 and Gamma to 1. Next go to Render Properties → Color Management panel. It’ll make sure Blender works with the config file specified in the “OCIO Config File” field.ĪCES configuration in the addon settings. Add the path to your ACES config path in the “OCIO Config File” field.Īlso check “Use Other Config File”. Open it and go to “Octane Color Management” tab. Go to menu Edit → Preferences → Addons and find your “Octane Render Engine” addon. You should be fine using latest releases of ACES but it’s recommended to use ACES 1.0.3 as a tested stable release.įirst you need to let Octane know where your ACES configuration files is located to get use out of it.
